Starting in the off season I go back to basic fundamentals making sure they have them down pack and that the client will understand why I am teaching them this way or these particular drills. So everything in the beginning will be drills and correcting errors. For the first 3 to 4 months we are on grass and in flats. We will also do a lot of exercising using their own body weight to get them stronger before we get in the weight room. From here we will move on to the track where we will start our intervals. This is where we will do more strength workouts add in hurdle drills and speed ladders. We will then go into our speed endurance phase and then our speed phase around April
