More About Coach Connor

I have been responsible for coaching youth football quarterbacks while in high school. I work with all ages that are willing to become fundamentally sound and step there game up to a higher level. I have worked with multiple elite 11 coaches, such as: George Whitfield, Quincy Avery, Alex Brink, etc. since I was a freshman in high school. I have worked to make myself understand the making of a great thrower, coverage decipher, and leader. Having done a ton of Elite 11 and under armour camps growing up, I have made a lot of friends who are current big time starters in college and the NFL. With my experiences and seeing different throwing motions, I know how to help your son build off of his own body of work, instead of trying to make him like everyone else.

Going into high school, basically an 8th grader, Tate Martell and I were the youngest guys to ever get invited to an Elite 11 regional camp. Was the inaugural winner for the Rivals quarterback challenge, still hold the record for the highest amount of points scored at the camp, also won MVP at The Nike Opening camp in Seattle. As a starter on varsity at Wilsonville High School from my sophomore – senior year. I threw for 7768 yards, 88 touchdowns, and holding the Oregon state record for most touchdowns scored in a game by a quarterback, 9; with a few others records held. On ESPN, I was a 4 star, in the ESPN 300, and was ranked the 9th dual threat quarterback in the country. Going into signing day I had three offers from: Washington State, Hawaii, and Boise State; while getting a few more on that day as well. I played with Luke Falk, Gardner Minshew, and Anthony Gordon at Washington State, all while being coached under Mike Leach (Mississippi State). I took my chances to transfer because we had 10 quarterbacks at the time. I went to EMCC (East Mississippi Community College) from the Netflix show “Last Chance U.” There I was the second leading passer in the NJCAA for only being there six months. Currently playing quarterback at D1 FBS Northern Illinois University.

I offer trainings and chalk talks (learning about coverages and how to attack them). The initial session for each one will be tended towards the future structure of how I will train.

Trainings:
- dynamic warm up
- shoulder mobility
- specific throwing warm up for the individual
- footwork drills/ throwing on the run
- routes on air
(The order of this may vary depending on what I would like to work on, this is a general overview for the workout. I also expect your son to do the things we worked on at home before the next session.)

Chalk Talk
- Going over coverage that will be talked about that day
- Ways to attack them
- What to read on coverage
(I will be giving homework’s for chalk talks, these will need to be turned in next time we meet for chalk talks.)

Client Reviews

Coach Connor was amazing to work with, super friendly and taught my son more in the hour session than he has learned in 2 years. He is very knowledgeable and followed up with videos and exercises for my son to do at home.

Ever since I was in 4th grade Connor took me under his wing. He was a high schooler at the time but that never changed the way that he treated me. He pushed me to be great and cared about my success just as much as his own. He has been a huge part of my football journey ever since and is my QB mentor to this day. He always set a good example on and off the field for me. I’m so grateful for all the football knowledge Connor has been able to give to me over all these years. Connor studies the game more than anyone I know and the amount of wisdom he can provide is so valuable.
Connor has been around some knowledgeable football minds and QB coaches and has taken many nuggets from them and put them all together. He is a patient coach who loves the game and has fun with it. He understands biomechanics of throwing and practices what he preaches. He wouldn’t tell you something if he wouldn’t do it himself. I’d let him train my son
