More About Coach Clifford
Hi, my name is Clifford Williams but my players call me coach cliff. I have been playing the game of football since I was 7 years old. Played for Nimitz high then to Stephen F.Austin for only 2 years due to injuries. Played for Austin armadillos (AFL2) in 2014 then came back to Houston to coach the Houston wolves (semi pro) and Atascocita Eagles (little league). My passion has always been teaching and providing help to those who seek it. If your desire is to make it to the next level, my desire is to help you achieve that goal!
I have played college football for Stephen f. Austin, semi pro and AFL2. As a freshman in college (2009) I received most noticeable athlete, averaged 5 catches a game, 78 yards a game. Sophomore year I tore my ACL in spring ball (2011) After a year back home I played semi pro for the Houston wolves (2013) and was the top WR in the tufa league. Took the film I had and went to the Austin armadillos workout and received a one year contract. AFL2 is good but I knew my talent was better then what I was settling for!
I feel that little techniques can make or break you on the field. I specialize in footwork, speed and acceleration. First we have to stretch to get the blood pumping, then do what I call "pre exercise" which is high knees, sprints etc, next we go the speed later, cones, speed hurdles, speed parachute, and recoil band (basically a resistance band), then after we complete the technical things we move to specific position drills!
