My hitting sessions focus on building a consistent, elite swing through discipline, repetition, and mechanics. Using my PHW 'No Shortcuts' development system, we breakdown each component of the swing: stance, timing, rhythm, hip rotation, and finish. Athletes leave with clear adjustments and drills they can continue at home helping them maintain, refine, and elevate their swing for long term success.

We are very impressed with Coach Waye. He's incredibly responsive, professional, accommodating, and friendly. But more importantly, he is terrific with our young son - so patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging. We've been trying to introduce beginner baseball skills only to be met with frustration and whining. What a difference to see our son's happy face, motivated by his progress, after his first session with Coach Waye. It is obvious that Coach Waye is passionate about the game, and has the experience and skill to meet a child at her/her level. I knew that Chris was going to be a great coach for me when I first signed up for a pitching lesson through CoachUp. Chris made sure that our scheduling was carefully coordinated, and he provided me with a list of expectations for our lesson. When we met for the the lesson, Chris helped work on my off-speed pitches: the change-up and slider. He was able to help me cultivate these crucial auxiliary pitches by introducing two main tips: finger pressure and arm alignment. Chris has the rare and incredibly beneficial capability to explain baseball in an intelligible and simple manner. Having played and studied the game extensively, Chris was able to answer all of my technical questions in a clear and straightforward fashion. Chris Waye is encouraging and effective in making a difference in one's game; even during a single hour-long session.
