We are very impressed with Coach Waye. He's incredibly responsive, professional, accommodating, and friendly. But more importantly, he is terrific with our young son - so patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging. We've been trying to introduce beginner baseball skills only to be met with frustration and whining. It is obvious that Coach Waye is passionate about the game, and has the experience and skill to meet a child at her/her level. Coach Waye is very knowledgable- particularly in advanced hitting. I never realized the amount of mechanics that went into the perfect swing. The bottom line is I learned more things in my first 1 hour session than I ever did playing pickup games as a kid. We even bonded over the neighborhood we both grew up in. I knew that Chris was going to be a great coach for me when I first signed up for a pitching lesson through CoachUp. Chris made sure that our scheduling was carefully coordinated, and he provided me with a list of expectations for our lesson. When we met for the the lesson, Chris helped work on my off-speed pitches: the change-up and slider. He was able to help me cultivate these crucial auxiliary pitches by introducing two main tips: finger pressure and arm alignment. Chris has the rare and incredibly beneficial capability to explain baseball in an intelligible and simple manner. Having played and studied the game extensively, Chris was able to answer all of my technical questions in a clear and straightforward fashion. Chris Waye is encouraging and effective in making a difference in one's game; even during a single hour-long session. I highly recommend scheduling a pitching (or hitting) session with Chris Waye. 10/10!

If you can have Chris Waye as your coach, you are extremely blessed to have the best coaching you could ever hope for. I wish I knew them when my older son first started travel baseball. Besides being a ball player himself, his knowledge, skill, experience, and passion to develop kids the right way is like nothing we have experienced before, and we've had a lot of coaches between my two sons. My son is so happy and dedicated to learning everything he can under him.
