More About Coach Christy

I have years of working in the fitness industry. I'm a yoga instructor, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. I have worked at some of the best studios in West Palm Beach and Denver. I have my NASM CPT, 200 YTT, and Spinning certification. I coach all levels of fitness. I specialize in strength and conditioning, Fat loss, and stretching. I typically work with ages between 24-70 years old.

I was a gymnast from age 3 till I was 16. I was an all around gymnast that competed in all events. I was invited to the junior olympics in 2006. I was regional champion many years in a row and won numerous competitions throughout my childhood.

All of my sessions are different from each other so it really depends on what the client is looking to do, for example if the client is looking to build strength than a typical session is one that starts with a dynamic warm up, then moves into the main portion of the session building strength using a series of circuits or supersets ( one exercise after another using the same muscle group) our muscle strength increases when we place it under tension for a certain amount of time until our body adapts to the stress being placed on it then we have to increase the weight or reps. If the session is for fat loss then it will look a lot more like a circuit style training with a warm up that is a bit more cardio based, then moving into a full body circuit utilizing weights, proprioceptive aspects, and cardio influenced exercises.
