More About Coach Christopher
I've been working in the fitness industry since 2007. I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, Master Kettlebell Trainer, and Certified Speed and Agility Specialist. I started out my fitness career as a San Diego Beach Volleyball Clubs Strength and Conditioning Coach and also Certified Personal Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness, where I trained individuals and groups of 2-30. After i left 24 Hour I trained as a 1 on 1 Private Fitness Coach who specialized in weight loss/nutrition/muscle building in various studios around North County San Diego. Today I continue to train all types of athletes to increase explosive power, agility, strength, conditioning, and injury prevention. I have trained many types of athletes but I have extensive experience with indoor and beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, martial arts and mma, track and field, football, soccer, and field hockey.
I love to train athletes of any sport and any age, but I excel at training athletes who are looking for that edge over their competition by increasing real in-game, sports-specific performance, explosive power, vertical jump, speed, agility, and injury prevention. I specialize in Kettlebell training, Olympic Lifting, Barbell Training, Calisthenics, and Cross-fit style workouts that build sports specific strength, power, and energy systems to show improvement on the field of play. My goal is to make you a stronger, faster, more explosively powerful athlete in the weight room which will automatically make you a better athlete on the field/court/mat. At the same time you will be required to learn flexibility, dynamic 3 dimensional movement, and body awareness and coordination.

My personal background in strength and conditioning started with a 15 year swimming career (2 years of Division I swimming). My second love was basketball which I played recreationally at a high level for 15 years also. In the gym, I started young and have been working out since 1996 doing powerlifting, olympic lifting, plyometrics, speed and agility training, calisthenics, and yoga. My personal best weightlifting numbers include: 585lb Deadlift, 450lb squat, 350lb bench press, and 295 power clean. I also competed in four years of college volleyball, ten years of beach volleyball, and was able to develop a 44" inch vertical leap with proper training. I've also been a Yogi or Yoga Practioner since 2007. I love Muay Thai Kickboxing and Western Boxing, and I currently train 3 times a week at various martial arts studios.
