More About Coach Christian

I spent 5 seasons as a football player at UCLA and 3 years as an athlete, intern, and finally hired as a performance specialist at P3. While at P3 I trained athletes from the MLB, NBA, and DI athletes from various schools. I developed a speed program for both pro and amateur athletes. I’m well versed in the PAP system (Post-Activation Potentiation) and still apply it to my training module. I was also in charge of our kids’ group where I trained all athletes younger than 13.

I earned all CIF Honors in football my senior and junior years as a running back, punter, and linebacker. Earned a scholarship to play football at UCLA where I played saftey, runningback, and F-back, and started at the latter two positions. I finished in the top in league for track after my first and only season in long jump, high jump, 300m hurdles, and 110m hurdles. Basketball I also was a first team all league player for 2 years. I was named to the Imperial Valley Hall of Fame in 2010.

First I take you through a dynamic warmup and then 2 more warmup complexes that consist of movements specific for that day’s workout. There will be a lot of mobility work to help maximize power through all movements. Then 2 complexes will follow where I will incorporate lifting, sport specific drills, stability, and more mobility movements. We will then end the session with a big stretch.

I have built my own training facility, which includes a batting cage for extra work for my baseball players. I have a Power Lift cage that is from the Anaheim Ducks facility and the ground is covered with turf and rubber mats. I have special built boxes to improve foot speed and agility. Everything is organized to build a great athlete!
