I have studied the intricacies of middle and long distance running for the past eight years. I have a formulated running training program that is proven to achieve results and increase performance over the season. I have a expansive knowledge of miscellaneous injuries and how to alleviate them. Overall, my competitive running career allowed me to reach the Ohio Division I State High School Cross Country Meet, and three NCAA Division III Regional Meets. I have a personal record of 27:37 for 5 miles and 16:13 for 5K/3.1 mile. In 2011, I accepted the position of Hiram College Assistant Coach.

I personally design an individualized training program for each runner. The training program is prescribed to eliminate weakness (ex. lack of foot turnover or speed) and developed through feedback from the athlete. I prepare each individual for competition using various training types and techniques. Each training workout will serve a specific purpose, which will be explained to the athlete prior to start. Training schedules are tailored to each unique individual and their running background in order to achieve optimal performance.
