More About Coach Chip
I have been playing football since the age of 4. I attended one of the most renowned high schools in the state of Virginia (Robinson) and was coached by one of the greatest coaches in the history of the state (Mark Bendorf). I attended Wake Forest on a football scholarship. There at Wake Forest, I played an intricate role in turning a historically dormant football program into a Top 25 program and an ACC Championship contender. While at Wake, we went to 3 consecutive bowl games which included the FedEx Orange Bowl and won an ACC Championship.
My Junior year I received Honorable Mention All-ACC. The following year, I was recognized with 1st Team All-ACC. I was also a Jim Thorpe Award candidate (Top Defensive Back in the Country) my senior year (2008) and was rated among the Top 5 Safeties in the 2009 NFL Draft. In addition, I received Special Teams Player of The Year at Wake Forest. I attended the 2009 Under Armour Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine. I placed in the Top 5 in all physical tests at the combine and had the fastest time for a safety (4.36 seconds)
I was selected in the 4th Round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. That year, we won the NFC South and won Super Bowl XLVI in Miami. In my time in the NFL, I was a part of the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and the Carolina Panthers. I also spent a little time playing in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
I spent each of my off seasons in Miami, FL training with Pete Bommarito. Pete is well known in the training world for his speed and strength programs. His training produces the top athletes in the draft each year and perennial Pro Bowlers.
I have a vast knowledge and understanding of the game of football. Having been coached by and played with several Hall of Fame and Pro Bowl caliber coaches and players, my knowledge of techniques and fundamentals is second to none. In 2012, I started the Hungry & Humble Youth Football Camp where techniques, fundamentals, and sportsmanship are emphasized.
I truly enjoy coaching our youth and young men to become better players and also men of character. Taking into account the knowledge I have gained at each stage combined with my own athletic abilities, I can offer a young man the tools necessary to reach the "next level".
2007 Honorable Mention All-ACC
2008 1st All-ACC
2008 Jim Thorpe Award List
2009 Senior Bowl Participant
2009 4th Round NFL Draft Pick (116th)
Played for the Saints, Eagles, Colts, and Panthers
Clients are given a full detailed explanation of what we will be doing during the session. I believe it is important to identify the areas you want to improve on in each workout to maximize your abilities. Then we will begin a dynamic warmup and static stretching. After we get warmed up, its time to rock n roll! My sessions not only include the physical aspect of training but also the mental part too. Football is truly 10% physical and 90% mental. I want my clients to thoroughly understand the game so it will become 2nd nature to them.

I would highly recommend Coach Chip! He tailored my workout to account for an old injury but he still kept it very challenging. He wants you to succeed at your goals and his sessions reflect that. I'm glad I choose him and I encourage others to do so if they are looking for a kind, personable, knowledgable and challenging coach.
