More About Coach Chase
Coach Hollmer is originally from Davenport, Iowa where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Movement and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Iowa. He later moved to Tampa, Florida where he completed his Masters degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Tampa. While pursuing his graduate degree , Chase also worked in UT’s Human Performance Lab, which was considered to be one of the top human performance labs at the time. Since his time in Tampa he has worked with multiple professional teams and athletes including those in the NHL, NFL, MLB, and the UFC. Chase also has experience working with numerous fitness professionals and bodybuilders on their individual training, nutrition, and supplementation needs. Chase currently holds his CISSN and is a USAW Level 1 sports performance coach.
Coach Hollmer graduated from Davenport Assumption High School (Davenport, Iowa) where he was a four sport athlete in football,cross country-state qualifier, soccer and wrestling. In soccer he was team captain, 4 year letter winner and lead his team in assist both junior and senior year. He was a 3 time varsity letter winner, 2 time team state qualifier and was coached by Pete Bush a NCAA individual national champion, 3 time individual Big Ten champion, a member of the U.S.A national team, and also 4 time team national champion under legendary coach Dan Gable at the University of Iowa.
Coach Hollmer focuses on improving overall athletic development setting the athlete up for both short and long term success. The typical session varies depending on many factors such as the athletes goals, age, experience level, and time of year.
Typical objectives of training sessions-
Enhance Performance in :strength, speed, power,agility, flexibility, mental toughness, confidence, nutrition, and conditioning
Improve Injury Resiliency:Well trained/conditioned muscles and joints decrease the possibility of injury.
