More About Coach Chad

I am currently the head track coach and defensive coordinator at a private school. I have been coaching for 12 years and training for 10 years. I work as a personal trainer for the YMCA and also a Group HIIT instructor. I have a personal training
certification from National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA). I also hold a certification through Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) program. I am also NFHS certified (concussion, heat illness, sudden cardiac arrest and blocking:defeating blocks)

I played collegiate football for the University of Miami “THE U” 95-98 and was a three year starter at defensive tackle. I transferred to Illinois State University my senior year 1998. I earned Gateway 1st Team All Confrence, Burger King All-American/AFCA 1st Team, and Football Gazette All-American Honorable Mention. I played in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals 1999-2000. I also played in the XFL 2001 and the Arena Football League 2002-2007.

We will start every session with a 10 minute dynamic warmup. During the warmup, I will stress the importance of proper mechanics. Then we will focus on speed and agility drills (Cone Drills, 40 yard stance and starts, Pro Agility Drill, L Drill, Ladder Drill, Low Hurdles or Bag Drill, Resistances, and Plyometrics). My focus will the turn to specific
drills based on your position. The sessions will last 1 hour. Water breaks whenever needed.
