More About Coach Carl

I currently coach/train athletes at BSA Sports Lab (Balance, strength, agility) in Shertz, Texas. The age of my cients and classes range from 10 years old all the way up to clients 40 and 50 years old. I can work well and progress my clients with any age and any sport. I've played basketball, ran track, and played soccer, but I played football at a very high level at the University of Texas at San Antonio, so football is my main sports that i train in. However, I've trained clients in basketball, track and field, volleyball, baseball/softball, and more. It does not matter what position you are. i work with all positions. If you just want to train to get stronger, in shape, lose weight, or gain weight i can do that for you as well. I am currently pursuing mt NASM personal training certification.

I played football, basketball, and ran track at St. Stephens Episcopal High School in Austin, Texas. There, I received an scholarship to play football and attend the University of Texas at San Antonio where I spent five years and started 4. I am currently a NFL Free agent.

My clients will train like professionals. That means I will hold you accountable and instill discipline. we will start with a dynamic stretch and warm up to loosen up our body to get ready to work. Next we will get our feet, hands, and eyes with ball drill. For example, we will line up across from each other and you will run towards me/cut left/cut right while I throw you the ball. After this, we will jog to the side line for water break. Then, we will move into our footwork drills to get our feet and hips active with drills like 8 cone fast feet, zig zags, box, reaction drill, speed ladder, etc. we will jog to the side line for quick water break. From there, we will get into our positional every day drills or EDDs. These drill include, but are not limited to, pedal series, wave series, man coverage concepts, zone concepts, route recognition, route tree, route coverage, middle safety drops, deep corner drops.
