More About Coach Bryon
I'm entering my 18th season as a High school football coach on all levels. Currently a Varsity RB coach.
I've been mostly working with Offense & Defensive lineman.
Offense - I've coached the Read Option, Pistol, Pro Style and Wing-T blocking schemes.
Defense - Multiple fronts from a 3-4, 4-3, 4-4, 46.
I've coached all D-line positions.
I coached for 8 years in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. 5A football Centennial League
8 years in Cupertino, California. El Camino League and De Anza League
I have no collegiate experience or personal or teams awards or records. My high school playing day 1985-1989 as a Wide receiver/ Free Safety.
I have several recruited players that have gone on to play college football.
Start off with the basics and evaluate the player and skill set.
Stance - Position stance and variations. Left handed, Right handed and how to step.
Alignment - Teach the technique of the position to the player. Let know WHY alignment is important.
Keys - Teaching the player how to read their keys! Where do their eyes go after the ball is snapped?

Chris Oswald Cupertino HS Head Football Coach (Testimonial)
I am writing this letter on behalf of Bryon with whom I came to know during the 2011-2012 school year. Bryon applied and was hired to coach on my varsity football staff at Cupertino High School. During this past year I have been very lucky to have Bryon on my coaching staff. Bryon was raised in Santa Clara and after several years of working and coaching in the Denver area he came back and wanted to get involved with coaching and working with student-athletes right away. When I told him about the rebuilding project we were currently undertaking at CHS with the football program Bryon didn’t hesitate to jump right in. Nowadays there are so many coaches who don’t want to put the work in, everyone loves a winner and not too many are willing to be part of something that might not show immediate returns. Bryon did not shy away from this challenge and has made a positive impact on our football program. As a coach Bryon has been a great role model for the student-athletes. He is usually the first one to practice, willing to do whatever job necessary to make sure the facility is ready for practice and to take as much burden off of the student-athletes as possible. Bryon does an excellent job of finding that moment either before or after practice and working one on one with each one of his position group athletes to not only try and make them better but to let them know how important each one of them is to our eventual success. During our off season Bryon has given so much of his time to our 7th period and after school weight training program. He has done a lot of research on position specific drills and exercises to help our student-athletes reach their potential. He did all of this without being asked, he saw an opportunity to help and jumped right in and made it happen. Also this off season Bryon has attended several coaches’ clinics to continue his education in the profession of coaching. Again, we are very lucky to have him on our staff. It is without reservation that I recommend Bryon for any position he may be in consideration for. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have
