More About Coach Bryant
I have coached throughout my life starting at the age of 15. I competed in USTA National events in junior tennis since the age of 12 and was ranked top 10 nationally in the 16 & 18 under age divisions. I would hit with/teach students at my local club in Pittsburgh, PA from the age of 15 through college. After graduating from Vanderbilt University where I played all four years, I taught at a local Maryland Farms YMCA facility. This was junior clinics on the weekend. During the week I would hit with/coach high school students who had aspirations of playing college tennis.
I was top 10 in the country under the USTA Ranking System in the 16 & under and 18 & under age divisions. I played college tennis at Vanderbilt University where I played as high as #1. My sophomore year, I beat the NCAA Champion that year who went on to play in the U.S. Open and played Roger Federer first round. I have played futures and challenger level events.
A client can expect clear expectations after an initial call seeing where there game is at currently and understanding where they want to go. After I understand their goals, we will map out a plan on how to get there. I like using the SMART method -- Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. I would be more than happy to play at a high level helping students prepare for the college level and also welcome the opportunity to teach toddlers looking to learn the fundamentals of the game early on.

My daughter had a great session with Bryant today. Bryant is very friendly and easy to work with. He helped correct some problems with my daughter’s serving and provided many advice that we can take home and focus on for the future. Highly recommended!

Coach Bryant was absolutely amazing. From the initial inquiry to booking, Coach Bryant was personable and focused on understanding our needs. My daughters (11 y and 6y) learned so much during our session and I know their skill level increased. He exercised patience with them, studied everything from their grip to their stance and made small adjustments to their strokes that resulted in immediate, BIG impact. Thank you!

Bryant is an excellent coach. Even though I am a total beginner, I learned a great deal in just one session. He is very knowledgeable and eager to help you improve your game. He is very attentive and answers any questions you have. I am definitely booking more sessions with him and looking forward to a great learning experience with him. I highly recommend Coach Bryant!
Marika (CoachUp client)
Coach Bryant was awesome to work with. I already re-upped for 5 more sessions. We had a pre-session phone call to talk through goals and skill level. Then, when we met in person, we did a quick diagnostic to get a fuller picture. Then we ran through the basics of each stroke type.
His coaching style is clear and encouraging. His explanations of the mechanics and intentions behind the movements really unlocked a ton for me.
Excited to get back on the court with him!
Ross M. (Testimonial)
I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with Bryant - he is a high level instructor and competitor. He expertly breaks down what areas of my game I need to improve on, in addition to ensuring that I get some match play in with him. I guarantee that he will bring your game to the next level!
