More About Coach NFL Bret

10 years of sports performance training one on one and groups of professional and collegiate athletes. Leon McFadden from the Cleveland Browns, Colin Lockett from The Redskins, and WIll Harris from USC/Seahawks are a few athletes I have recently trained. I train children from 8 years of age plus. I've been taught and have studied at the top athletic facilities in the country from D1 Sports, Athletic Performance Institute, and Test Sports.

4 year NFL Veteran, 3 years for the New England Patriots, 1 year for the New York Jets, SuperPrep All-California (No. 52 player) A three-star selection by rivals.com, Ranked No. 33 player in California by rivals.com, Rated No. 23 `athlete' nationally by rivals.com, A three-star selection by scout.com, Ranked No. 43 player in California by scout.com, Rated No. 21 safety nationally by scout.com, Rated No. 38 WR nationally by collegefootballnews.com, PrepStar All-Region selection as a receiver, Member of Tacoma News-Tribune Western 100, Played in the CaliFlorida All-Star Game, First-team Sierra League in 2004 as a receiver, 2004 All-Inland Valley selection as a linebacker, 2004 Team Most Valuable Player and team captain.

A typical session starts with a dynamic warm-up enabling the athlete to completely warm his entire body to handle the workload ahead. An emphasis on building a solid foundation starting with the fundamentals of position specifics and mobility is the primary focus. Technique both lifting and running are the most important factor of being a top athlete. Moving the weight rapidly and training the fast twitch muscles are the key to having an optimal athlete in any sport. Another huge factor in transforming intermediate athletes to professionals is finding a balance between acting and reacting to the change in the environment (not wasting movement). Lastly, I require the athlete comes with a great attitude and the willingness to work harder than they ever have before.

Spectacular coach with a winning attitude

Excellent first workout. Looking forward to more.

I've known Bret for almost 20 years. We grew up together and I was the #2 safety in the high school class of 2005. I decided to go to USC and Bret UCLA. We remained close friends and to this day, Bret is one of the best and brightest performance coaches I know.
I was fortunate to be Bret's NFL agent. Bret was one of the best players I've ever had and is more knowledgable about the game of football than anyone I know.
Bret's knowledge of the game helped me play at a higher level as a pro.
Bret is the reason why I was able to play college football and make it to the NFL!
Bret Lockett is one of the most committed and knowledgeable performance coaches in the country.
