More About Coach Brendan

I have achieved my Bachelors in Exercise Science through MSU Denver and I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS.) I have interned at the world-renown Landow Performance facility working with every type of athlete from youth to professional, basketball to equestrian with one common goal to increase acceleration, top-end speed, agility, strength, and mental fortitude. I have trained athletes for sports and everyday people to make daily living easier. I focus on performance, injury prevention/rehab, and proper movement mechanics. I have over 4 years in the strength and conditioning industry and I am the owner of Lucid Sports Performance.

I have played up to High School level due to personal reasons in basketball and football, however it does not hinder my knowledge of the movements and love for sports. I currently play in leagues for both sports, mastering my movements to outperform the person across from me. I currently specify my training to increasing speed, agility, jumping, and injury prevention. My main focus for training is always working towards longevity and durability. I train so I can continue to live a long, healthy life so I could still be able to play basketball with my future grandkids!

Sessions include acceleration, top-end speed, jumping mechanics, and agility drills for the first portion of the workout, where after we move onto our strength and power segment of the workout. Each session is tailored to each individuals needs and sports. For general fitness, I cater our sessions to functional movements, customizing training to our goals starting with a warm-up, workout, and an energy-system development phase at the end.

Brendan really helped me get better on both offense and defense. We worked a lot on my shooting technique and finishing at the rim. He makes the training fun every time and I hope I can make bigger progress this year!
