More About Coach Brayton
I was the Special Teams Coordinator at Middle Georgia State University for the past three years. I coach Kickers, Punters, and Long Snappers. I have converted a full-time punter into a kicker who could kick up to a 55 yard field goal and also converted a soccer player that has never played football into a kicker/punter that can currently kick a 50 yard field goal and 45 yard punts consistently.
I currently am coaching Receivers and Special Teams at Glenn Hills High School.
I played football at Middle Georgia as a Kicker where I earned All-American Awards in 2013. I have worked with several high school and college players in the local area.
We will stretch extensively since flexibility is key to specialist success. We will start by going through post drills (no-step, one-step, and full-drop field goals and punts). After this we will go at various locations to work on accuracy and finish out working on long field goals, punts, and kick-offs. If a Long Snapper we will work on accuracy drills after stretch and work on ball placement and form. We will end using field goal and punt snaps.
For receivers will work on footwork, routes, and catching.
