More About Coach Branden

Northeastern university hosting highschool level training clinics since 2008. Since 2010 I've worked with a training company called rise athletics in south new jersey doing individual and small groups training. I started my coaching career working with highschool kids but have had kids from as low as 5 years of age train with me.

I played 4 years of varsity football and 3 years varsity basketball in higschool. Ending my senior(2007-2008) year I competed for 3 group 4 championships 2 for basketball 1 for football. second team all conference senior yr. Worked out with Jim garret (father of cowboys head coach Jason garret & where I get a lot of coaching techniques). Offered at least 4 d2 basketball scholarships and 3 D1 football. Awarded full scholarship at northeastern university to play football in 2008

Endurance is one of the most important factors in any sport so I make sure the whole workout is at a certain tempo so that it serves a dual purpose with skill building and endurance. I use resistance bands and parachute for explosion. And latter and cone work for footwork. After that I work understanding of positions and that's position specific skill work. After everything situational 1 on 1s to put together all that was worked on and build toughness.

Coach Branden is great.
It is my 7yr old’s first time playing tackle football. He needs help on developing his all around skills and toughness. Coach Branden has him well on his way to becoming a FOOTBALL PLAYER! He is showing him the right way to train and work hard, while also developing his toughness by gaining confidence in his skill set and working on his coordination.

I am really impressed how quickly he was able to assess my sons ability. He integrated him into the program right away , and made him feel as if he had been there for months. My son is so excited for his next session.

Coach branden does a great job of getting to know your child first. That was big so my child could receive instructions without and tension from day one. About to do our third session and already booked another three. Tackle season starts at the end of July so definitely loading up before then with any free time but not to over work. Good job coach
