More About Coach Ben
My name is Ben and I am graduate of Furman University. I played football at Furman under Coach Bruce Fowler and Coach Bobby Lamb. My road to Furman started in high school. I began playing football my sophomore year, thanks to my best friend (who was the place kicker at my high school) told me to come join the team and punt. After my senior year at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia, I signed with the Naval Academy and went to their one year prep school (Navy Prep) in Newport, RI. After my year at Navy Prep I decided to transfer to Furman. During my time at Furman I was a punter and also handled onside kick duties. I have coached at many different kicking camps across the Southeast including Ole Miss, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, among other local sites. I've also worked individually with high school and collegiate kickers and punters of all skill levels.

Depends on which aspect of the kicking game we focus on. Initially, we will stretch and work on drills that focus on fundamentals and techniques. These are essential to kicking and punting. From there we will build out plans for each session based on current skill level and goals.

Great coach! I felt like I already knew how to punt but as soon as I started to work with Ben I basically had to relearn how to do everything from molding the ball, taking steps, keeping the right drop table, holding on to the ball, and making good contact. I've learned a lot through my training sessions and I know I've definitely improved my game. Overall he's a great coach to work with and I would be very likely to recommend him.
