More About Coach Austin
I have a Bachelors Degree in Human Movement and Performance and a minor in coaching from Florida Southern College. Upon graduation, I worked as a strength and conditioning coach with the Detroit Tigers. After two season with them, I moved to Chicago with my family to start a career in corporate fitness. I have been in the industry 12 years and have worked with everybody from Max Scherzer and Miguel Cabrera to 74 year old retirees and everybody in-between.
I played football, baseball, and basketball in high school and played college baseball, but that's irrelevant, really! I was a strength and conditioning coach with the Detroit Tigers from 2012-2014, worked in corporate fitness in downtown Chicago for 8 years, and currently work at a sports performance facility working with 11-22 year old amateur athletes.
**Only looking to add online/remote clients at this time**
Using an online training site, www.Truecoach.co, I will upload workouts for my clients to complete on their own. The workouts come with video demos so you know what you’re doing and the site allows my clients to record themselves performing exercises for me to see and provide feedback.
On a weekly, or as-needed, basis, we will have a standing meeting time to discuss upcoming workouts, progression, and how the client is feeling.
