More About Coach Asa
I have been working in the Collegiate setting for the past 4-5 years now with stops at University of Iowa, Rutgers University, Manhattan College, & University of Kentucky. I currently work as the Associate Director of Sports Performance at Fairfield University with Men's Basketball, M&W's Golf, Tennis & Softball. Before coming to Fairfield University, I spent two years at Sacred Heart University working with Football, Men's Basketball, M&W Tennis, Softball, & Dance team. I'm currently certified by the NSCA, USAW, RPR, & PN1.
As an athletes I ran track and also played tennis. During my time in high school I won five varsity letters. Four letters for tennis and one letter for track & field. I also played on the Methodist University tennis team for two years. During my time with the team I played both 3rd doubles and 6th singles.
During a typical session with a client. I will start with a short warm-up for five to ten minutes. After completion of the warm-up depending on the athlete we will either test a form of sprint, jump or metric that we use to track our athlete performance. After we complete this I will look to start the workout with the athlete depending on the goal with a main movement to help both asses and develop the athlete as we start to have goals the workout will be built with the focus of improving those goals.

Client Reviews
Jaci Budaj (Testimonial)
Asa was my strength coach for 2 years during my time at Sacred Heart University and he helped develop my both in the weight room through training but also in my confidence and my self-belief which allowed me to grow as a soccer athlete and come in Day 1 and be a contributor to the team. During the year as helped me improve and get stronger over the year and develop my speed and strength while I gained more ability as a soccer player.
