First Session:
1) Assess athletes mental and physical ability through various speed, agility, and position specific drills/questions.
2) Understand the athletes goals and aspirations and gain a sense of the work ethic already there. This will be a good opportunity for us to get to know each other, spend additional time learning the warm-up and what I pay attention to the most. I suggest booking the first session to determine whether the training is a good fit for both of us prior to booking multiple sessions.
Subsequent Sessions:
1) Number one priority is to establish proper running form/technique to maximize speed development. With improper form, athletes limit their potential all around. Every drill will have an emphasis on proper arm placement and leg drive.
2) 15 minutes of warm-up (which eventually the athlete will do before starting our session to maximize training). Warm-up includes laps around the track and Dynamic stretching with an emphasis on flexibility.
3) Sessions are filmed for additional learning and training while not working with me. We watch film for 5-10 minutes after warm up is completed.
4) Speed/agility training which includes ladder, short hurdle, and cone drills with an emphasis on football movements.
5) Position specific training varies depending on the athletes abilities and growth through the sessions.
6) Warm down laps and stretching (very important to longevity)
7) Strength and Conditioning training is also available at the same rate as one session. Facility access is complimentary
