More About Coach Anthony
I coach athletes ranging from beginners to Olympians. I am certified coach by USATF, RRCA and Nike and also a certified trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine.
In addition to my own practice, Anthony Ferraro Elite Training, I am a coach at the University of Texas at Austin, where I work with students and staff to improve their running form and endurance, while also paying special attention to strength and conditioning, in order to prevent injuries.
My experience also includes coaching Rogue Athletic Club, a club created for post-collegiate students with the potential to become Olympic athletes. Two of my athletes made it to Team USA in XC, several of them ran the marathon Olympic Trials, and one was the Female British Steeplechase Champion for 2016 and represented Team GB at Rio 2016 Olympics.
I have been running log distance for over 15 years. I have run the Berlin, Chicago, New York, Paris (x2), Dallas, Austin, Rotterdam and Frankfurt marathons. I am certified as a coach by USATF and by the RRCA. I am also a Nike+ Running Club Coach.
The structure of each session will depend on where you are. A session for beginners will focus on getting your learning the right way to run, whereas more advanced sessions will focus on developing you as a more complete and faster athlete.

Coach Anthony is EXCELLENT. My 7 year old is a very good soccer player but his running form, sprinting form, and explosiveness were holding him back. In just 3 short sessions Coach Anthony identified the low hanging fruit, worked with my son on realizing them and fixing them, and then gave us some drills to practice at home. My son's form has improved greatly with just these 3 short sessions and now he has a great foundation to build on top of. We are grateful for Coach Anthony's help!

Coach Anthony was great! I hired him because I had a very limited time window to improve my run for an import physical test. He was very thorough and detailed. Let me ask all the questions I wanted and made sure I didn't leave that day until I had a fully laid out plan on how to meet my goal. Even after our meeting was done he took the time to write everything down that we discussed and email it over to me so I had a reference. I wasn't sure I could meet my goal but I took all of his advice and came out on top the day of the run. Expert knowledge and professionalism.
