More About Coach Anselm
Currently Assistant Cross Country Coach at Seton Hall University. Former Assistant Track and Field Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Former Head Coach at Oratory Prep HS Summit New Jersey. Work with individuals for ages 8 and up.
20 Times World Record Holder in masters track and Field. 10 Times gold medalist at World masters Track and Field Championship. Full T&F Scholarship at Seton Hall University from 1978-82 and also captain of the team. Many Times Masters Track and Field Athlete of the year.
Typical session can will be the warm up, drills, stretching and them some accelerations or straightaways. Session will then be broken down into sets of 3 or 4 intervals with small specified rest after each one and then a larger rest after the set. For example, one workout can be 2 sets of 4x200 (will be 8 in total) with a certain rest after each 200, and then a larger rest after the first set o 4x200, and the repeat the 2nd set. Then warm down when workout is completed.
