More About Coach Aneka
My experience coaching/training athletes has been non-traditional. Most of the instances I have coached someone they have been a part of my own team or former teammates after graduating from high school. Many of the teammates I have worked with have been between the ages of 15 to 18.
I participated in varsity track and field as a sprinter and hurdler for four years at McLean High School. I competed at the NCAA division 1 level as a hurdler on the Stonehill College track and field team. I have competed at the NEC conference during all four years of my collegiate career. I received all second team NECs during my indoor season in 2026.
A typical session can include a variety of different hurdle drills. These include basic hurdle mobility as well as form drills that focus on lead and trail leg form. Other drills such as one step and three step drills would be included to help with rhythm between the hurdles.
