More About Coach Andrea
I currently work as an Head Cross Country Coach at Clark University in Worcester. I am responsible for running practices, writing workout plans, and coaching athletes to perform their best at races. I have also previously worked as Head Cross Country and Distance Track Coach at Sidwell Friends in Washington, D.C.
I am a 4-time Collegiate Division I All-American in Track and Field and Cross Country, and I attended Georgetown University. During my time at Georgetown, I was also an NCAA Champion in the Distance Medley Relay alongside my three teammates. In addition, I held Georgetown's school record in the mile (4:33) and 1000 meter (2:42).
I run a comprehensive training session, which includes pre-warmup drills, a running warmup, pre-workout drills, a running workout, a running cooldown, and post-workout strength and mobility. Every part of this routine serves a specific purpose, whether it be to activate a certain set of muscles or increase flexibility to avoid injuries. My clients can expect clear instructions at every step along the way. I encourage clients to ask questions to understand the purpose of each activity.
