More About Coach Alex

I've been private training with clients for the past 8+ years focusing on speed, strength and conditioning, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance. In addition, I also train athletes in cross country and track and field specializing in middle to long distance running. Previously I served as Assistant Coach for cross country and track in the high school level. For my clients, I like to focus on core strength and mechanics to lay the foundation to further progress.

My background is in cross country, track and field, martial arts specifically Tae Kwon Do, Sambo, and Judo. I graduated from University of Southern California with a Human Performance Degree.

I grew up practicing martial arts. I ran cross country and track in high school. Currently I am focusing on long distance training. Fitness is my life and I strive my clients to do their very best and guide them to achieve their goals.

First I like to do a fitness assessment where I can get a chance to know my client and his/her fitness goals, nutrition, habits, lifestyle, etc. The first session is where I can see where my client's fitness level is and from there I can create a personalized program.

Alex is an exemplary personal trainer. As a trainer, he teaches you the form and physical breakdown of each exercise and importance of each drill but he also teaches you the physics, biology and chemistry behind everything so you understand where the power comes from and why certain exercises allow you to achieve specific performance. Alex is also an awesome motivator. He keeps each training session challenging, positive and fun. The knowledge he has given me has allowed me to break through fitness plateaus and achieve great results.
