More About Coach Alex

I was a division 1 track and field sprinter for U of A and GCU. Where I have won 3 conference championships and a PR in the 400 of 55.67 & 200 24.81. I have been a certified NCSF personal trainer the past 2 years and currently CPR/AED certified. Age group for coaching between the ages 16 to 28.

Currently working with professional athletes in the NFL, Italian track and field team, and more in my internship for Certification in Mental Performance Consulting.

3 conference championship rings, 2nd place in the WAC Championship final for the 400m, 4 year scholar athlete. I competed at U of A and GCU.

I focus primarily on an athletes technique. That is step 1. Based of strengths and weaknesses of technique I teach what parts of the body need to be strengthened with plyometric training. Last, I give basic information on how to prepare for a track meet such as meditation, books to help prepare and be inspired, and how to recover properly. Off season workouts will consist of high rep low weight or slower timed reps. As season starts low rep and high timed intervals.

I emphasize the benefits of mind and body connection during workouts.
