More About Coach Alexander
I have been coaching youth football (and previously basketball) for the last 4 years. I have worked for multiple organizations as a camp leader as well as a head coach. These organizations include fitkidsamerica (San Diego), master sports (San Diego), and Legends of AZ (Phoenix). I typically work with quarterbacks ages 8-14 years old.
I played 3 years of varsity football in San Diego (QB) and received invites for 2 separate all star games. I decided college football was not for me, but soon came to find I had an even greater passion for coaching than playing. I have earned a leadership award as well as an MVP award for high school football.
In the first few sessions, I will evaluate the athlete and their strengths/weaknesses and look for room for improvement. If there is something specific that the parent or athlete would like to work on, I will start there. From that base, I will assist in the progression of the athletes body mechanics, technique, footwork, game IQ and leadership qualities.
