More About Coach Akhenaton
Starting my training career at 24 hour fitness I trained all populations with strength and conditioning, ranging from seniors to childen with special needs such as autism. Currently I run basketball spots clinics where I assist youth with strength and conditioning in addition to my personal clients and with a variety of needs. I have NESTA and ASFA Personal Training certification.
Over 20 years of weight training experience. Played some high school football and ran track. Some body building experience. Self rehabilitated Achilles rupture.
Currently I am running a sports clinic in the Bay Area for the Foster City Flyers, an AAU youth basketball league. I was brought in 4 months ago as the strength and conditioning coach. When I first started working with the group they were just a bunch of kids who wanted to play the game. Since they have become athletes who recently won all three games in a tournament against other leagues in the Bay Area that are considered to play at a highly competitive level.
My goal is to assist my individual client with what ever their needs are. I do this by an initial assessment and layer in foundation movement techniques in order for them to be a top athlete. I will help to correct any muscle imbalances or improper techniques through focused movement and targeting certain muscles. All my sessions are tailored or each individual client and progress from the point we begin working together. Some of my different techniques include muscle growth or hypertrophy, balance and core stabilization, speed agility and quickness, and power, all rolled into one to produce top tier athletes
