More About Coach Adrian

I have been a personal trainer for over 14 years, working with clients who seek weight loss, tightening and toning, as well as those looking to maintain general health and fitness. My experience spans from beginners to advanced athletes, and I work with individuals aged 18 to over 60 years old.

I currently own my own training company, Explosive Performance 1. My background includes positions at gyms such as LA Fitness, Gold's Gym, Anytime Fitness, and Vasa Fitness. Throughout my career, I have held various roles, including Personal Training Director, Weekend General Manager, General Manager, and Area Manager, overseeing multiple gyms.

I hold a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Exercise Science.

During my high school years, I was an All-Conference player in both my junior and senior years and earned All-State recognition as a junior. I also helped my team secure a State Championship title and achieve State Runner-Up status. In my senior year, I was a starter for USA Today’s 4th Best team in the country (Penn High School, IN) and rushed for over 1,000 yards each season.

I received a full athletic scholarship to Western Kentucky University and played as a freshman. I completed my collegiate career at Indiana State University, where I played under my father, Lou West, a long-time Division I coach. I earned All-Conference honors in both my junior and senior years, finishing my senior year ranked as the 40th best running back out of 255 FBS FBS running backs.
