More About Coach Adrian
bring over 8 years of coaching experience, including more than 5 years as a Head Track and Field Coach at the collegiate level. I’ve led programs at Emmanuel University, overseeing all aspects of the track and field and cross-country teams—ranging from training and recruitment to budgeting and NCAA compliance. I’ve worked extensively with collegiate student-athletes, but my experience also includes engaging with high school athletes through recruiting and community outreach initiatives.
As a head coach, I’ve developed individualized training programs across event groups—sprints, distance, jumps, throws, and multi-events—fostering multiple All-Region athletes and championship appearances. I’m passionate about holistic athlete development, emphasizing leadership, resilience, and academic success alongside athletic performance. While I don’t currently hold industry certifications, I stay updated through clinics, coaching workshops, and continuous education. My leadership style is rooted in discipline, culture-building, and motivating athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the track.
where I was a team captain and a member of the school’s first NCAA Division II national championship team in track and field. My experience as a student-athlete gave me a firsthand understanding of the discipline and dedication required to succeed at a high level.
As a coach, I’ve had the privilege of developing and mentoring top-tier athletes. I’ve coached 6 NCAA All-Americans and a U-20 2nd Team All-American, helping them reach peak performance through individualized training, strategic development, and a culture of accountability and excellence. These accomplishments reflect both my competitive background and my commitment to building a high-performance environment.
Clients can expect a structured, high-energy session that focuses on proper progression, technique, and performance development. Each workout begins with a general warm-up to elevate the heart rate and prepare the body for movement, followed by dynamic and static stretching to improve mobility and reduce the risk of injury.
We then transition into preparatory drills designed to activate key muscle groups and build toward the primary goal of the session. This includes short sprints and explosive movement work to enhance speed and power. The main portion of the session centers around event-specific drills or targeted technical work, depending on the athlete’s needs.
Throughout the workout, I integrate core and abdominal exercises to support stability and strength. The session wraps up with a cool-down period and a final round of stretching to aid in recovery and flexibility. Every element is intentional and geared toward helping athletes improve, stay healthy, and perform at their best.
