More About Coach Adriane

I am an NCAA Strength & Conditioning certified coach through the United States Track & Field/Cross-Country Coaches Association. My first experience in the strength & conditioning industry was an internship with a NCAA Division I program, working with every sport, from cheerleading to football. I have worked with all levels, from children to adults. I was a NCAA Division II Cross-Country/Track coach for 4 years and spent 2 years at the Division III level. At every step in my coaching journey, I was either writing the strength & conditioning workouts myself, or heavily involved in the writing process, working closely with the strength coach. I am also a certified Sprints Coach, with numerous years of training high level track athletes, which can help transfer over into any and all sports.

I was a NCAA Division I Cross-Country/Track & Field athlete. I achieved All-MVC status in the indoor 800m. My biggest achievement was the prestigious President's Academic Award for our conference.

A typical session will depend on the athlete's age and experience level and also their specific sport. We will go through a general warm-up and progress into a more specific warm-up. Next, I will take the athlete through some functional movements, working on strength and flexibility. The main session will focus on 3-4 areas of concern, be it power, strength, speed, etc. The session will finish with dynamic flexibility and some light static stretching. The main thing I emphasize is that while I am not opposed to doing sessions in a weight room, a successful strength & conditioning session can occur anywhere!

Our first lesson was wonderful. My son really responded well to her and she was very patient with him.
