Additional Experience:
Director of High Performance at High Performance Sports and Training Solutions - Privately train youth to college athletes looking to develop elite speed, strength, and athleticism. I also specialize in athletic reconditioning/return to competition training for athletes recovering from injuries (post-operation or post-rehab). An athletic reconditioning training program helps athletes to fully recover from their injury and safely return to their sport at a competitive level. This type of training program goes beyond traditional physical therapy and bridges the gap between rehab and elite performance. I've helped several athletes (youth and adult) regain their confidence and fully return to play after a serious injury. Injury experience includes: high ankle sprain, broken ankle, Achilles tear, meniscus tear, ACL tear, and rotator cuff tear.

- Football (strength, speed, agility, and sport specific training)

I played Division 1 football as a defensive back at UT-Martin where I was a 4-year letterman and a member of the 2006 OVC Championship team. In high school I was a 2-sport athlete (football and basketball) playing running back and defensive back in football, and point and shooting guard in basketball.

The typical session will begin with a warm-up/movement prep block to prepare the athlete for the workout mentally and physiologically. After the movement prep block, we move into the skill specific block where we focus on any technical or athletic skills we need to develop (ex: speed technique, agility, etc.). Next we move into our power and strength blocks where we focus on the development of explosive power and total body athletic strength. The next block will place emphasis on either core, conditioning, or correctives based on the athlete's primary needs and the training goal of that session. The session will end with a cool down and recovery (foam rolling, stretching, etc).

Client Reviews

I started working with Coach Aaron during COVID. I am 61 and my goals are focused on ‘growing old gracefully’ with strength and stability a close second. Upon starting with Coach Aaron, he immediately devised a workout plan based specifically on my goals and age-related limitations. Since then, I have seen significant results. My lower back pain is gone, the stiffness in my joints has lessened, and I have visible definition in my arms and legs. Coach Aaron is focused and pays attention to every detail, making sure you use correct posture and do each movement correctly in order achieve maximum results and avoid injury. I love that if I get discouraged, he gives me a positive reality check. Coach Aaron is an extremely knowledgeable and talented personal trainer. If you put in the work, he will get you where you want to go. I can’t recommend him enough!
I began working with Aaron last August due to having knee surgery and a desire to improve my overall fitness level. I started by setting small goals, and after approximately 6-8 weeks, I noticed a significant improvement in my fitness levels, which brought me great satisfaction. I appreciate that Aaron fulfills the role of both a coach and a teacher, as I consistently learn something new during each session. Highly Recommend.
I began my workout journey at HPE on May 9th with my trainer Aaron, who is the best trainer. Its now July 15th and I no longer have left side lower back pain. Also, I had left ankle surgery and sprung my right ankle and Aaron tailored my workout regimen to include strategies to strengthen both ankles, which has helped to reduce pain, increase flexibility, and strengthen both ankles. I'm also becoming stronger and accomplishing my fitness goals per my doctor's orders. Aaron really focuses on each individual's needs to ensure you are getting personalized support within a small group workout. I also love the fact that education regarding nutrition is incorporated as well as goal setting to maximize your workout plan which is tailored to each individual's specific goals. Aaron is a great coach; he's patient, teaches proper techniques and will ensure you get a great workout.
Aaron has been a great influence on me. When I would work out, I focused mostly on cardio/dance workouts. Aaron introduced me to strength training, and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle based on my exercise interests. I have a young child and a busy work schedule and Aaron has been flexible with his different training options based off of what I have going on. I have lost 50 pounds since beginning my work with Aaron in 2021 and his patience and encouragement motivate me to continue. I recommend High Performance Elite.
Working with Aaron and his staff at HP Elite has been life altering for me. Before starting, I had not worked out in years. I knew changes had to be made. Since joining the HP Elite family I am strengthened mentally as well as physically, and my overall quality of life has improved.
Words can’t express how grateful I am for Aaron and High Performance Elite. My son broke his ankle during football practice in middle school at the age of 12. This experience created fear and emotional and physical insecurities about returning to the sport that he loved the most. I put my faith into High Performance Elite (HPE) because I trusted Aaron to give him what was needed to recover. This program not only restored him physically, but mentally and emotionally. Aaron is so dedicated to his client’s recovery process and doing what it takes to achieve total rehabilitation. He designs unique plans for the patient’s specific needs. Not only does he work with them in-person, but he sends them home with strength and conditioning exercises for consistency. Aaron is serious about personal development and total recovery. It’s been 2 years since his injury and my son is playing football again, playing basketball, and running track. Thanks to HPE for getting home where he needed to be.
I’ve always struggled to find the true abilities and strength that my body was capable of. Luckily, Coach Aaron was the man to guide me through it! Not only is he a great coach, but he’s also a mentor and great friend that goes beyond teaching you exercises that will better your body from a health and athletic standpoint. His coaching is always detailed but never confusing, and he encourages everyone to push themselves. Aaron has helped me improve my athletic abilities and confidence in myself; I would certainly recommend him to any lifter or athlete of any level.
I love playing sports but I have never been able to unlock my full potential when it came to my athletic abilities. Aaron, has helped me push myself further than I have ever done by my self. After training with Aaron, I feel like my traits as an athlete have exceeding my expectations of what I had for my self. Not only has Aaron helped me become a better athlete but he has also helped me to curate my own exercise schedule and he has helped me recover from an injury. Working with Aaron has shown me that he is a great friend as he is trainer. Aaron is an amazing coach, trainer, and teacher who has the abilities to help anyone get stronger or more athletic.
Aaron is a great coach! I have gained confidence, strength, and new highs as an athlete with his training. I have become stronger and faster which will help me in baseball in my future. His coaching style is good, he explains what to do well and is always giving us good advice in the weight room. I highly recommend him to any beginner lifters.
I realized that I needed to make some healthier changes in my life and I wanted to go to someone who was passionate about fitness. Aaron's dedication to his craft is 2nd to none!!!! If you are willing to work and put in some sweat equity, this is the place for you!!!!
My daughter is a youth soccer athlete competing at an elite level. Last Spring, she had one of the worse injuries, a full ACL tear, which required reconstructive surgery. We went through physical therapy, but it wasn't enough to make her game ready. We started with Coach High in October when she was cleared from PT but was behind on the criteria to return to play. Coach High worked diligently with her and ensured her safety to return back to practice. She is just 1 month away from returning to play thanks to High Performance Elite and we plan to continue with Coach High for years to come as my daughter strives for college athletics and professional athletics. Not to mention, my daughter LOVES working with Coach High; he keeps her working hard AND having fun in her strength and conditioning program.
Aaron and his staff are the best trainers I’ve ever worked with! They’re fun, energetic, and it makes the workout enjoyable! I highly recommend them!
Coach Aaron helped me a lot in getting to the point where i am today and he made the experience enjoyable. I’m glad he was able to help me back to where i need to be from my injury and I appreciate it a lot.
Aaron is an excellent trainer that produces long lasting results.
Had a great experience with this training and was able to reach my goals and see results.
