More About Coach Aaron
I have an extensive experience coaching the Offensive line, I also have experience coaching Tight-End/Full-Backs and the Defensive line as well. I typically train players that are 15 years and up but can work with any age group.
I currently work at College of the Siskiyous in Weed, California. A CCCAA Junior College football program. This will be my third season with COS. I have additional experience as a student assistant with Tabor College in Kansas during 2018-19. I also have worked as a part time assistant coach with Hockinson high school in Washington state from 2015-17.
- I have coached players of all ages
- I have coached at the high school and college level.
Accomplishments:
- Hockinson High school 2014; Team Captain, All League, All Region and HM for all state on the Offensive Line.
- College of the Siskiyous 2015-17; Team Captain and multiple time scholar athlete
- Tabor College 2018-19; Team Captain and Academic All-American.
- Also compete in the sports of Strongman, Highland Games and Powerlifting as well.
A typical session I have broken down into 3 elements. A Dynamic Warm-up, an EDD period or Every Day Drills for your specific position group and lastly an isolation segment to help focus weak points or to help improve technique overall.
For Example:
-Dynamic Warm-up would consist of priming the athlete’s body for the training session through low intensity speed agility with stretching as well.
- The Everyday Drills would be position specific, so if you play Offensive Line we’d focus more on stance, footwork and combination fundamentals and if you play Defensive Line we’d focus more on stance, explosiveness, triple extension and read/react drills.
- If you play both or TE/FB I can create a separate plan to accommodate for any of your specific needs as well.
- To finish each session I’ll isolate or refine any weak-points or technique that’s needs refining or go over anything the athlete would like me to reiterate with them at the end of the session.
