Introduction to the College Football Compass
Start Your College Football Recruitment Journey Early with Your Best Football Trait: Knowledge
NCAA Division 1 Non-Athletic-Aid-Granting (NAAG) institutions and Division 3 college football represent the largest cohort of collegiate football programs in America. Yet they are often misunderstood and overlooked as opportunities to pursue educational excellence, career success, future income accumulation, and social mobility.
93 colleges and universities sponsor college football programs as NCAA D1 NAAG or Division 3 member institutions and are located within 500 miles of the Greater Boston area. Although these schools do not issue athletic grants as part of their financial aid packages to student-athletes, many are among the nation's most prestigious higher education institutions and offer some of the best financial aid terms to their applicants. Each year, these institutions look to attract accomplished student-athletes to enroll as students and play for their football programs.
Our College Football Compass (CFC) program is dedicated to helping New England high school student-athletes in Grades 9 through 12, who participate in interscholastic high school football and are prospective NCAA Division 1 NAAG, Division 2, and D3 football scholar-athletes, identify the best higher education institution and college football program for them while maximizing the lifetime value of the degree they earn.
