The Absolutes of Pitching Program is a 10 session program designed to prepare pitchers to take their game to the next level. The program will run for five consecutive weeks, meeting Sunday and Thursday from 5 to 6 pm, beginning on Monday, May 22. The first day will be the only Monday. We will focus on developing each individual player and providing a solid, research based program that will allow the player to reach his maximum potential. The program is designed for players of all skill levels, beginning pitchers to those that currently pitch for their middle school teams. The root of the program is to teach players to understand pitching, develop a true love for the "Art of Pitching" and the game of baseball.

Every pitcher is different and that is how we coach them. Regardless of how a pitcher works, there are a number of what I call "ABSOLUTES" that must be included in their delivery. These are simply points through their delivery that allow them to work safely

and efficiently, to be their best. All of the work we do will be based around each pitcher developing a FEEL for the absolutes in their delivery. WE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE EVERY PITCHER LOOK OR THROW THE SAME! We address and teach their delivery with the physics of movement in mind.

The program is designed as a progression. We work to develop a solid foundation which leads to control and command. Remember, the best pitch in baseball is a STRIKE! Most hitters will get themselves out, if we will only allow them to do so.

We focus on allowing pitchers to learn the feel of throwing strikes with their fastball, both 2 and 4 seam, then teach the importance of changing speeds with a straight change. We also set the foundation of learning the correct way to throw a curveball, how and when to throw it in a way that takes stress off of the elbow.

Everything we teach will be introduced in drill work that will translate to the mound. The drill work will reinforce the feel of the absolutes and each pitcher will be able to take ownership of the drills. Each session WILL NOT SIMPLY BE THROWING FOR THE ENTIRE HOUR! The program is designed to allow each player to still compete on his summer team as we progress through the program.

Each player will receive a personalized binder. Each week they will receive drill sheets and other printed materials that will create their own personalized pitching handbook for future reference.

The mental side of pitching is addressed in each session and each pitcher will complete our program with confidence that will allow them to be a vital member of their team. We will also foster the desire to continue to improve! Pitching is a never ending process.

There will be homework assignments between each session! Parents are also encouraged to attend each session! Everything done in a session will also be explained to the parents so you have the opportunity to understand our process and reinforce it with your, son as you assist him with his development.

Each player will receive a video analysis at the beginning of the program then again at the end. These will be provided to each family to keep. Each player will also schedule an individual time for a personal review of their analysis. Players will also receive a FREE personal recruiting webpage through Recruit Look and a manual that outlines the baseball recruiting process. Colleges are now offering high school freshmen and sophomores so it is never too early to begin the recruiting process!

The Middle School program is LIMITED TO THE FIRST 6 PLAYERS TO REGISTER! After 6 players, the registration will close. A waiting list will be created in the event a registered player cancels. This will allow us to give maximum attention to each player regardless of their skill level.

If a player must miss a session, that is fine! Each player will be provided with one free makeup session, scheduled at a mutually convenient time.
