More About Coach Zi
I have experience coaching athletes from middle school to professional athletes. I’ve worked at Harvard University Strength and Conditioning, EliteHomeFitness, Clientel3, and Functional Therapy in the U.K. I have a master’s degree in nutrition and certification in biomechanics and movement specialist.
I competed in competitive basketball at the Division 3 level. I played for Umass Boston and competed for 2 years before Covid-19. After graduating during covid, I studied abroad in the United Kingdom and competed in the BUCS Premier 1st Division.
A client can expect a program that is specifically tailored to their needs. I focus on addressing imbalances in the body as well as building proportionate strength in the body to maintain a balance athlete. Clients start with a warmup using myofascial release techniques to activate muscle groups, then we utilize corrective exercises to connect the body, finally we use dynamic exercises to build explosiveness and fluid motion. As some coaches look to build strength and improve conditioning, I look to build fluidity, power, and finesse in athletes.
