Education:
Psychology Major, San Francisco State University
Music and Dance, Columbia College Chicago
Scene And Improv Study, American National Academy

Zaire Brown began acting, singing and dancing at a very young age. Her early training at Ruth Page Ballet school, MoMing Dance and Arts and ETA in her hometown of Chicago would soon propel her passion for the performing arts. Later on an opportunity to move to Los Angeles would soon envelope her training in styles such as jazz, hiphop, modern and acting which fueled her desire to pursue professional work. She would perform in shows with Kids American, Moro Landis Theater, Alexander Hamilton Music Academy and Serendipity Theater. She was recommended to work with Serendipity, a children's theater playing principle roles such as Rosalina the ballerina. She continued her studies in psychology and dance training at San Francisco State University, where she performed with ASE Dance, SBDP, World Dance Fusion, The Movement Company and the SFSU professional dance theater series. After graduating from college she would go on to teach dance to youth and adults throughout the bay area with her own business Flying Dimes. Her professional dance training is attributed to Teresa Tabron, Joel Hall, Lula Washington, Malonga Casquelourd, Alicia Pierce, and Reginald Savage . Zaire’s on screen work includes, BET's Comicview ‘One Mic Stand’, Bingo America (GSN), 12 Hearts, and The Tony Rock Project (MY Net). She continues to actively pursue her career in acting, dance and choreography.

All sessions begin with a 20-30 minute warm up focusing on flexibility, core strengthening and agility with muscle movement. The next 20-30 minutes will include movement across the floor, balancing exercises, barre work, and arm and leg strengthening. Final 30-60 minutes will focus on organic stylized dance movement and training, choreography and specialty dance techniques personalized for each student or group.

Client Reviews

5/5 stars August 18, 2013 I've been taking private lessons in ballet and jazz from Zaire for about four months now, and I can confidently say that this was the best decision that I made this year! My only previous dance experience was five years ago, a beginner's class that my high school offered for physical education. Early this year, I decided that I wanted to try out for the dance team at my college, hoping I could train hard enough to prepare for auditions in September. Zaire has been the perfect dance teacher to help me work toward this goal. Every lesson, she pushes me more to perfect my technique, build up my stamina, and to really perform each movement. She works me VERY hard, but I've gotten in so much better shape and can see and feel improvement in every aspect of my dancing. Zaire instructs with the perfect balance of being tough with high expectations while keeping things fun and creating an environment in which working hard doesn't feel like work at all. She is a beautiful person who truly cares about her students! I am so blessed to have her as a dance teacher, and I recommend her to absolutely anyone who wants to experience the joy in dancing!
