Sessions are developed to compliment each individual athlete. Game footage will be used to evaluate a players strengths and weaknesses. A session will typically contain three segments.

(1) Position Specific Strength and Speed Training
On the field, the players typically start with Position Specific Strength and Speed Training. Players are expected to maintain proper general conditioning. Sessions will be physical demanding, but are not designed to improve general conditioning. Player's will engage in footwork, speed and athletic positioning drills to prepare them for the coming football season. These sessions will increase in intensity as the athlete's football season approaches.

(2) Position Specific Drills
Athletes will be taken through Position Specific Drills to improve advanced techniques, practice principles and situational drills learned in classroom time. These often include foot and hand placement training and drills to improve a players position technique.

(3) Live Play Drills and Situational Training
Players will engage in live drills that improve game time performance. In one on one sessions, players will engage in live drills with the coach. In group sessions, players will engage in live drills, being matched with players of similar strength, size and skill. The coach may also participate to accommodate players of a higher size, strength and skill level. The coach maintains the size, strength and speed to give even the most advanced players a quality challenge, improving the players abilities and readiness for the coming high school season, and college football.

Client Reviews

Zach has an outstanding knowledge of football. He was big in High School, but he knew speed was what made the difference. He wasn't naturally fast or light on his feet, he had to work for it. He was always the guy running ropes or working on his foot work after practice. Zach has done wonders for my son. He started working with him at my request a year ago. My son is now heading off to play Division II football. We owe allot of it to Zach. His style of coaching is very professional. Before we even started out first session, he sat down and had a meeting with myself, my son and the High School's assistant coach. He received input from everyone and came back in two days with a real plan to make my son a great defensive end. He never billed for this time. I felt like Zach really wanted to see my Son succeed.
Zach really helped me improve. He took a look at some game film from the previous nights game. Not only was he able to correct me on a few major aspects of my defensive run stop, but he was able to show me what I needed to do better and how to do it. Then I practiced these techniques on him. Having just retired from his college football career a few years ago, practicing these drills on him was a great training method. Going up against a high school player seemed like nothing after a few sessions with Zach.
