More About Coach Yehudah
I am an experienced distance coach, having coached the Varsity and Junior Varsity distance runners for the McDonogh Eagles track and field team for a number of years. I take pride in coaching rising athletes and helping them achieve their personal goals. Additionally, I work with a diverse group of athletes who compete in distance events spanning from 5ks to full marathons.
I am a competitive runner with experience competing in various events ranging from 5ks to full marathons. Along the way I have earned several age group awards and overall wins in local city races. Throughout my running career, I have achieved a personal best of 16:15 in the 5k and 1:22 in the half marathon.
My coaching approach centers around the principle that easy days should be taken lightly to enable athletes to push themselves during more intense workouts. Each training session begins with a comprehensive warmup, stretching, and mobility exercises that form the foundation of a robust running routine. I then design a workout tailored to the unique goals and abilities of each individual athlete. I take great pride in customizing each session to ensure that athletes reap the greatest possible benefits from their training.
