More About Coach Whitney
I have been developing players and coaching for years. I work with players with a wide variety of skill levels. I work with all age groups 10 years to Adult and all skill levels.
Basketball has allowed me to travel the world to play the game I love so much. I was a four year Varsity starter at Oviedo High School. In 2014 I was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. I attended Appalachian State University, where I was ranked top ten in the nation for steals. After college I was blessed enough to live out my dream to play professionally. I played in Poland where I lead the league in scoring and steals.
Depending on the age of the client and the skills that need to be focused on. With younger clients I stress FUNDAMENTALS and learning the game the correct way.
All clients can expect a game speed workout. We will focus on all the fundamentals of the game such as ball handing, shooting, defense, passing, court awareness and many other aspects of the game. Each session will consist of stretching, footwork, and ball handling for the warm-up. From there we will work on shooting form then move into different drills that need to be focused on.
