More About Coach Wesley

I've been training basketball players for over 20 years. These players extend from the ages of 6-30 years old. I also have a basketball Academy that cultivates the lives of young men and women, by teaching that basketball is an exstention of life and is no different then the classroom. I have placed over 280 student athletes into college in the past 9 years on basketball scholarships. I have also help numerous players start and maintain their professional careers in basketball. As far as my basketball experience I have provided my professional basketball resume in the Athletic highlights section. My basketball resume will give you a chance to see just how influential basketball has been to me and why I want to give what I have learned to the student athletes of today.

Position: Point Guard, Shooting Guard, Small Forward
Height/Weight: 6’ 6” - 205 lbs

-Otis Smith, Orlando Magic Assistant General Manager.
“He has a pull-up 15-foot jumper that most players lack in the NBA. Plays with the fluidness of a guard and the strength of a forward. He plays the passing lanes very well. It is rare to find an athlete with such a work ethic at any level.”

-Tim Grqurich, Denver Nuggets Assistant coach.
“Wesley is one of the hardest working players that I have ever seen. He can do a lot of things on the court, which makes him a coaches dream to have.”

-Johnny Davis, Indiana Pacers Assistant coach.
“Wesley is a very hard worker, who can play outside and inside 1, 2, or three. He played great for me when I was coaching the Magic. He has what every coach is looking for, which is a great game, competitiveness, and most importantly a great attitude.”

I have been blessed to play basketball on every level. I was only able to do that by understanding the importance of having a positive attitude, being patient, consistent, confident, and fundamentally sound. I've had so many coaches teach me the game of basketball and it all paid off as you can see. My plan is to pass everything that I have learned, down to the student athletes of today. There are so many basketball players who struggle with certain areas of their game and then, there are those players who believe that they have already arrived. With my program I seek those players who really want to get better and obtain success. I cultivate every player in the area of good morals, ethics, respect, confidence, and education. As you can see it is much more then just basketball with me and my program. Basketball is just the tool that lead's todays generation in the door to learn life lessons, that will ultimately turn them into strong successful young men and women.

If you want a coach/mentor that will look at your child as an individual and pull the best out of them based on their own personality this is the coach for you. Coach Welsey intertwined basketball lessons with life lessons in an impressive way. The importance of school work, goals, motivation and discipline were some of the key take aways from only one practice! My 14 year old nephew was grateful for the experience and has full confidence Coach Wesley is the coach to help him go after his goals. I agree.

Coach Wes gets straight to the point. Clear communication, positivity, and knowledge…really loved my first session! Can’t wait to keep grinding and schedule my next!

Coach Wesley is truly Awesome! He has perfected his craft and has a tremendous amount to give back. My 13yr old son was really excited after the first session and learned abundantly! We are definitely booking additional sessions for the next coming weeks! Thanks Coach Wes!

I hardly write any reviews but immediate impact coach Wesley had on our son, made me write this review. Our son always wanted to play basketball but lost his confidence as he couldn’t handle the ball. After first lesson with coach Wesley, he learnt many techniques and my son got his confidence back and motivated to work harder. Coach Wesley is very patient and caring coach and he believes in physical mental and spiritual development. Investing in great coach is first step towards your child’s success and we recommend to serious parents to invest time and money in coach Wesley. We’re grateful to have him as my son’s basketball coach!!

He is a great trainer and really works on all the fundamentals. He will not take anything unless it’s correct I definitely recommend him.

Coach Wesley not only a Coach but a motivator for our youth. He incorporate life skills, into his teaching of the fundamentals of basketball. He motivates the children to put effort in ALL areas of life not ONLY basketball but school and home. He’s patient with his clients and motivate them to strive for the best Verizon of themselves.

This was one of the best workouts I’ve been through in a long while. Made me feel like I was a part of a family!

Coach Wesley does a great job. I appreciate his attention to ball handling, passing, dribbling as well as shooting. Looks to make players better athletes and teammates. I wish our schedule worked better to allow more sessions with Coach Wesley.

Coach Wesley is both an amazing coach and petson. In only one session I learned many things about the game I hadn't known before . He wastes no time in practice and cares about my well-being both on and off the court.

Coach Wesley was awesome. I saw immediate results in my son!

Coach Wesley had a great session with my son. It was a session that he had never experience before my sons words exactly. We actually came from out of town to work with Coach Wesley gave us great directions and also called to see how close we were. At times during the session my son got frustrated but Coach Wesley was very patience with him and kept him focused and once he got he was so happy. My son said he really enjoyed himself and we will continue with Coach Wesley for the summer. Great man

Coach Wesley ran a very efficient training Session. There is absolutely no wasted time during his training period. We were very impressed with the immediate impact Wesley had on our son and could not have asked for a better Basketball Mentor. A great coach and a wonderful person. If you are looking for the next level, this is your coach.

Coach Wesley brings so much more to his training than basketball. My son will learn both how to be a better player on the court and a better young man off the court. Our son was greatly impacted by his first training. He absolutely loved Coach Westley and the kids he trained with. I love that the training was ended in a prayer circle honoring God. This to me is worth the price of training alone. We are grateful.

What a great first session with Coach Wesley! His professionalism, program, and instant connection with my daughter made me so thankful that we found him. The drills, skills, and advice he imparted during the session were truly appreciated, but his genuine interest in and patience with my daughter were most appreciated and are the primary reason I recommend him without hesitation. They worked hard from beginning to end, and she loved every challenging minute of it. Coach Wesley is a good person as well as a gifted and talented coach.

Outstanding session with Coach Wesley! My daughter responded well to his coaching methods and he gave her some homework prior to her next session. Will definitely keep utilizing Coach Wesley's experience to further my daughters basketball education. Coach Wesley is a KEEPER!

Coach Wesley is an increditable coach. This type of training makes athletes believe in themselves. My son wanted to quit but found ways to fight trough the workout. If you want top notch training Coach Wesley is the route you want to go.

Great coach. Has true passion for the game and mentoring students. I would highly recommend this coach to anyone looking to improve their game.

This man right here has taught me already so much in just one session and my mother loves him. We will book another one for sure. He pushes you to the limit and that's exactly what I've been looking for.

Coach Wesley is a phenomenal coach. He understands children of all ages. He takes an interest in the athlete's physical, mental, and spiritual growth and development. My son and I traveled 70 miles to learn from his expert knowledge. From one lesson, my son has learned new skills and techniques and is more motivated to succeed. I highly recommend Coach Wesley to anyone serious about playing basketball at a competitive level. He will push you to your limits. He is friendly, highly motivating, and a class act. We are thankful for the opportunity to have met Coach Wesley.

Coach Wesley has a commanding yet caring approach to the development of those he instructs. Our seventh grade son comes from an athletic family but has focused primarily on football. He expressed an interest in basketball in sixth grade and will complete his second year next week. He is somewhat athletic but is under performing in basketball. He met with Coach Wesley for his first session, enjoyed the workout and immediately put what he learned to work in his game today. Our son expressed how happy he was with what he learned and the result was an improved performance fairly quick. We are results oriented parents and have seen many programs that run athletes through meaningless drills. However the true measure of a program's value is its ability to employ realistic drills/activities that translate to the actual game or game like scrimmages. Moreover, instilling faith based, high character philosophy as the theme sets a program apart. As a result of our impressions and our son's confidence, we have scheduled another session to help him finish the final games of his season strong. Our plan is to make Coach Wesley our long term instructor.

My sons session with Coach Wesley was one of the best experience he's had with basketball. George's (13) rating of his session was a 9 out of 10. Coach Wesley's professionalism was evident from his introduction, through his efforts on the court and exemplary leadership off the court. That is, Coach Wesley instilled important life lessons and motivation all the while conveying the importance of gratitude. Coach Wesley's ability to push the envelope was balanced by words of encouragement. Coach impressed upon George the importance of mental discipline and focus, all the while reminding George that the mind controls the body. In summary, we are extremely pleased with Coach Wesley both on and off the court. His passion for basketball and his students is evident. We look forward to working with him again soon.

Ever since my son started taking coach Wesley's sessions, I've been seeing rapid improvement in his skill and personality towards basketball. Out of all the coaches I've worked with, Wesley is by far the most compassionate, skillful, and determined to make sure you are a better player. I know that with the help of coach Wesley, my son will go far in his basketball career and I would like to thank him for that.

Coach Wesley did a great job. My son learned more about shot mechanics in 15 minutes with Coach Wesley then he has in the last year with other coaches. Coach Wesley was the first coach to show my son how to make a left handed layup correctly, and how to protect the ball on the way to the basket. I very glad we found Coach Wesley and we are lucky to have such a knowledgeable and experienced coach in the area.

My Grandson was so excited after one practice with you he couldn't wait to come back. He didn't want to stop playing. You had really great skills great mentoring and understanding of what player really needed. I really couldn't ask for any more of coach. You push the players when they needed it. You are just a great coach even with knowledge of the game. I love your all over out look on everything. I cant thank you for this privilege and God has blessed us with you. Thank you so much.

Coach Wesley is an amazing coach and I'm really glad we found him. His work outs are tough but fun. He uses his vast knowledge to give kids the skills they need both on and off the court. He is definitely the best coach my son has ever had.

Coach Fluellen is a great coach. He pushes you to levels you wouldn't imagine. But the way he motivates you will make u want to run a marathon then turn around and do a triathlon. This is definitely one of the best coaches I have ever been coached by and would like to keep at it with him to grow as a basketball player.

Coach Wesley is the real deal. He knows the sport and knows how to train athletes at any level. He wants you to succeed, and motivates you to do so. If you are thinking about booking him, do it, you will not be disappointed!

Great. I have high respects and high regards for Coach Wesly he reads the athlete he knows how to use each one individually and works with them and encourage them and knows what is best for each one he can read their weak points and he just knows how to do different things to bring out what needs to be done

Coach Wesley Fluellen is an awesome coach. He takes time out to understand the player. He is so in tune with the players strengths and weaknesses which allows him to give them what they need to succeed and become the best player that they can be. He is also a great role model and motivator for all people.
Coach works you hard and shows you that you should never settle. Coach has taught me how to be a better point guard and now I'm ready.
Coach helped me get into college when everybody thought that I wasn't going to make it. Coach believed in me and made me work hard and now I am in school thank you coach, thank you very much.
Coach is like a father to me he is always there for me when I need him. I struggled with my confidence and defense, but now I am doing much better, thanks for everything coach.
I have learned so much from Coach F. and now I am playing basketball at NC State University, he is a wonderful person.

Coach F. is a awesome coach, because regular coaches do a drill and move on, but Coach F. waits until you do it right.
