Coach Mondo has a great way of connecting with young people and explaining the game and drills in a fashion where they can improve performance in a few sessions. This is done in a fun and enjoyable manner. #todaynottomorrow

Coach Wayne is a great Coach. My 11 year old daughter is having so much fun learning from him. His style is interactive and keeps the kid busy for the whole hour. The hour seems to melt away. He is helping my daughter get better at ball handling and shooting.

Coach Wayne is awesome to work with. Very responsive, on time and has a great plan cut out for my son. I like Coach Wayne’s immediate feedback approach and individual training plan cut out for my son.

Coach Mendezona was a very competent, professional, experienced, and kind coach! My toddler had a good learning experience. The coach is very experienced with training athletes of all ages for a long time. His credentials and background help with his competency a lot, too. Thanks coach!

I had my first session with Coach Wayne. He quickly pointed out what I need to improve! Also, he was taking notes during the training to keep track of my progress. I believe training with Coach Wayne will make me improve quickly!

I had a great session with Coach Mendo. He's friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable about the game. In just one session I got a few very helpful pointers on my shot.

I booked Wayne for an initial assessment of my girls' skills, and stepped back to let them have time with a true professional. No surprises on what they had to say--commitment. commitment, commitment--If they want to make tryouts, go somewhere, or simply beat the other school team that has schooled then for years. My girls have much to chew on. Wayne is focused on fundamentals, what's needed to build great players. I've seen too many 'senior' players on my girls' team handle the ball badly or becoming too showy at the net, and losing..lol..which goes to show school coaches can only do so much to correct bad habits.

This review is from my grandson. He says that Coach Wayne is an excellent teacher. He is motivating and pushes for improvement in a non judgmental way. He works on not only skills but also the mental aspect of sports. My grandson feels he is more confident and leaves each session feeling positive. He was glad he had the opportunity to work with Coach Wayne..

My son had a great session with Coach M.
He is really kind and funny and share great energy.
He spent time on fundamentals techniques which my son really liked. My son wish to work with him again

My daughter had her first session today and left feeling like she could immediately apply the learnings of the hour. I appreciate that Coach Mendo leaves time to work on the mental component of the game as well.

I enjoyed his training, learned a lot about my personal skill in basketball and gave me a lot to. look forward to and grow in terms of my strength and weaknesses

Coach Wayne was great! Our son loved his session with him. He mentioned he never understood the technique of layup from his group lesson. With coach Wayne he was able to do consistent layup's in just a few tries. Highly recommend him.

Coach Wayne quickly zoned in on what my daughter needed to work on. He gave her drills to practice on at home. She looks forward to the next session with Coach Wayne.

My daughter enjoyed her session with coach Mendo, with one hour training my daughter said she learned alot, and she enjoyed her training, believe me this is a big deal to hear that from a teen.

Coach Wayne is a pretty amazing coach. He is an excellent communicator and gets right down to the athlete's level to help them understand what he's explaining. Would highly recommend!

Coach Wayne was awesome. My kid loved the first training session and he wanted to continue with Coach Wayne for his trainings. We liked Wayne's style of training and building the confidence through out the session. We highly recommend Wayne if anyone is looking for a coach.

It's great to meet the great coach in person and it's been all so positive experience so far. Looking forward to work with him in our individualized plan.

Coach Mendo is amazing! Today was our 1st time meeting him and I love his direct positive approach! He includes the mental aspects of basketball and life which some coaches don't do. Mental is as important if not more important than the physical aspect and he recognizes that. The drills he ran with my son was exactly what he needed. 1000% recommend hooking up with this coach!

Coach Wayne is seriously an awesome person. The amount of energy and enthusiasm he brings to each session is so refreshing to see. Our son really had a great time with him and you can tell immediately how much experience Coach brings to the table. He was more than willing to bring the training to the exact level that our son needed and the sessions are way better than we could have anticipated! Each session is absolutely packed full! Thank you Coach!

Coach is supportive, has great drills and mental motivation phrases/ stories, and has changed the way I think of not just basketball, but in life. I have greatly improved in basketball and helps me with the right form and handling of the basketball.

Wayne was great, incredibly enthusiastic and pushed our son hard, all while making it fun. In just one session our son was already shooting better. Great experience all around.

Just want to give a big shout out to Coach Wayne! First and foremost for showing my son that with a little effort and time patience and the correct tools he can and will succeed! Coach was able to identify key items that my son needs to focus on and run drills for him to work! Coach has a way with these kids that makes them feel at ease even when he is critiquing and making them work!! He is straight shooter and he is kind! Thank you, for being patient and working with us I know my arrival was not quite on time but it worked out and I appreciate it and I am thankful for our 1st of I hope many to come trainings in the future!!

Great experience and fixes lots of the little thing to improve the bigger ones

I had a great session with coach Wayne. I enjoy his training style and plan to keep training with him to improve my skills.

Coach Wayne is a great coach. He has lots experience and patience training newer players and makes each session fun as well as a good learning session. I highly recommend him!

Coach Wayne brought positive energy, years of experience, and a great sense of humor. My son had a great training session. Thank you, Coach!

Coach was very nice and figured out what I needed to work on. We worked on the fundamentals and the mental side of the game. During the session he was very positive and encouraging.

Coach Mendo taught me a lot of valuable things in just one session. Not only did he teach me some new things I can be working on and improving on but also gave me a lot of wise words. And I look forward to work with him more.

Coach Wayne was a pleasure to work with. He was kind and patient with my two children, who are beginners. He was very generous with his time, and gave us excellent pointers. I will recommend him to my friends.

I’m so glad we found Coach Wayne to help with our 12 year olds basketball skills! After only one session my sons shooting had improved and he was excited to practice what he learned at home. We are definitely going to continue working with him! Highly recommend!

Coach Wayne is an experienced coach which can see your weakness at a first glance. He had a very efficient session with me. Pointed out a couple of mistakes I'm making. I enjoyed having sessions with him

Had a great time with Coach Wayne. Not only explains drills to a great degree but also shows how the move is effective in game allowing the athlete to understand why they are doing a particular drill. As an ex-college hooper I had a great session and would highly recommend Coach Wayne to all ages!

My 14-year-old son just completed his first training session with Coach Wayne and found the experience invaluable. I reached out to Coach Wayne requesting help on two things: 1) Developing his jump shot and 2) Developing his hook shot. In just 60 minutes there were significant improvements to my son's form, and he walked away with a ton of confidence. Coach Wayne uses a building block approach that makes what may seem complicated, very understandable, and achievable. He also folded in ball handling, foot placement and positioning into the drills. Everything was taught to be applicable to game type scenarios. It was obvious Coach Wayne is very experienced.

Coach Wayne is very engaging, knowledgeable, patient, and motivational. In addition to training form & technique, he also balances the coaching session with positive encouragement, and the level of heart, and mental state needed for the player to succeed.

On top of this, we performed the training session outdoors in a covered outdoor court in 25-degree weather. It shows his commitment and reinforces you can have a productive training session outside in not the greatest weather conditions.

My son found Coach Wayne to be a good fit and we look forward to our next training session.

My son , six grader, had an amazing session with Coach Wayne. Coach Wayne was able to create a great learning experience, focusing on all the important skills that my son still needs to acquire. My son and coach Wayne were able to connect right away , which definitely helped with my son concentration. It was an amazing one hour experience. Would Highly recommend to anyone that would like to learn basketball.

We’ve heard about coach Mendo’s Quick Handle clinics and camps and decide reach out and gets some training. And sure enough he did not disappoint. My son who is a 7th grader on a select basketball team was looking for some foot work and facing the basket shooting techniques and drills. Coach Mendo delivered. He put my son through a series of sequential drills building to the final outcome of proper form and technique shooting. What a difference it made. And even more impressive was the instant rapport he made with my son and myself for that matter. We’ll definitely be scheduling more time with coach in the future. He has earned a 5-Star review. Thanks coach Mendo. We’ll be getting the word out to our fellow teammates who want to improve their game.

We had an excellent session with Coach Wayne. He was able to immediately assess our son's current ability and instantly put drills in place that we can continue to work on whether in a session or on our own. He was able to connect with our son right away and got him focused from the outset. It was amazing how much Wayne accomplished in just an hour long session. Highly recommended!

Coach Mendo is great. His dribbling exercise is helpful. He pointed out 2 problems with my shooting and with that I improve my free throw right away. With just the first session he consolidated my foundations and corrected some of my bad habits. I like his energy. I look forward to work with Coach Mendo in the future.

My son had a great first session with Coach Wayne. He left eager for his next session. Coach mostly focused on accessing my son’s abilities so we know what needs to be worked on at future sessions. I loved that after every drill while my son was still tired he was shooting free throws. I’m excited to see what the future holds.

Coach Mendo is a terrific coach. My son had a great time at his training session - although he was very shy and reserved at first - he learned quickly and it helped him gain some new techniques to improve his skill. I would highly recommend Coach Mendo to anyone.

I trained together with my wife with Coach Mendo. He organized our first one hour session greatly. We learned about how to practice ball handling and shoot. Although we were pretty amateur, he was always very patient and explained everything to us.

Coach Mendo is a fantastic coach. He knows the keys to getting your athlete better. He recognizes it all starts with your footwork. It’s easy to see that he has an excellent understanding of the technical aspects of the game which is key. Coach Mendo is also skilled at challenging my daughter and getting her best effort-which is not easy to do! He is also very positive and encouraging and always addresses the mental game which is equally important. I have had my daughter coached by many and Coach Mendo stands head and shoulders above them all. I highly recommend him. Great basketball mind and it’s clear he has a love of the game and teaching it.

My 12-year-old daughter loves Coach Mendo. Her first virtual lesson proved to be both fun and constructive. Coach Mendo's instructions were clear and his demeanor was upbeat, making her enthusiastic to continue with him. She can't wait to do more and improve her game with Coach Mendo's coaching.

Coach Wayne did a great job with my son! He had lots of basketball knowledge. My son’s skills were visibly improved by the end of the first session and he also shared his experience about the mental aspect of the game. We were very pleased!

To be honest, coach Wayne is a great coach! It's a great experience to be working with him. I really enjoy it and he taught me a lot, not only basketball skills but also mentally. Really really good day for me! Looking forward to be training with him in the future!

I really enjoyed working with Coach Mendo, and I have learned quite a lot from him from in the first session.

Couple of things I definitely enjoyed is:
1. Drills we have done were very intense and I think I am pretty exhausted at the end of the session.
2. He identified the area of improvement for my shooting form and introduced me one motion shot. At the end of the session, I started getting the sense of one-motion shot and the benefit of it.
3. He pointed out that I need some improvement on changing the rhythm and pace in order to be more unpredictable on the offense side.
4. How to adjust my breath, slow down to prepare for the free-throw in order to increase the ft percentage.

I can see that he is very experienced in basketball coaching and I think if I continue to work with him, I can bring my game to the next level.

Coach Wayne is a great coach! He approaches coaching from a positive and motivational view. My daughter has thrived with his coaching and we have seen not only her skills improve, but her confidence grow as well. Coach Wayne is truly supportive and that makes my daughter work even harder. I highly recommend him!

Great motivational and empowering - loved the success she achieved in gaining that personal best during the session, seeing the growth in just an hour, boosted the confidence! Thanks Coach Wayne.

My 12 year old son had a great time with Coach Wayne. He already has stuff he wants to work on, and is looking forward to working with Coach Wayne more in the future! My son said he really likes how Coach Wayne was not only training him physically, but mentally as well. I can’t wait to see what he learns in the future!!

My son loved his first session with Coach Wayne. He said that the Coach had a lot of great tips and was really easy to work with. After the session, he asked if he could have another session immediately the next day. He is very excited for his next session.

Coach Wayne is a great basketball coach. The first session I had covered a lot of things and he was able to figure out my weakness quickly and encouraged me to do better. He is very experienced and always optimistic. The drills are customized for my level. I can't wait for training with Wayne in the future.

Kendyll loved her session with him! She said he got right to the important stuff.

First training session ever for my nine-year-old and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The drills were appropriate for his level yet educated, enlightened and made it more challenging all while having fun. Coach also has a valuable perspective he shares to keep the right mindset and perspective on the game and your goals. Thoroughly impressed, my son learned an incredible amount, and we will be purchasing more sessions! What a great experience for my child. Thanks Coach!

I am very pleased with my first session with Coach Mendo. His style of communication is poignant yet positive, and he doesn't waste a second of time. In our first session he:

-Established a baseline of where I am as a player.
-Provided me structured advice on my mechanics
-Taught me and ran me through various drills (ball-handling, shooting, and mental pressure)
-Established both short-term and long-term goals for me to focus on

I'm eager to start doing my homework, and am looking forward to my next session with Coach Mendo!

WOW*** Coach Wayne has completely transformed my son both on and off the court. My 13 year old son has dramatically improved in the last three weeks, not only in his overall skills on the court but also off the court by becoming even a better person.I couldn't be any happier for my son and to witness the special bond of the Coach/Mentor relationship develop.
Thanks Coach Wayne!! :)

I was very impressed with my son's first basketball coaching session with Coach Mendo. His experience and knowledge of the game was obvious just after a few minutes. He was engaging, dedicated and he even took the time to talk to my son about the importance of having a growing mindset. I'm looking forward to continue having my son train with him.

Great job! My son loved the session and can't wait to learn more. I can tell that this training will advance his skillset. Thank you Coach.

I am so lucky to find Coach Wayne! The first training session with my son was great. He is motivating, encouraging, and on point with teaching technique. He is really good at communicating to kids at any level. He understands that basketball is not just a physical sport but a mental one as well. My son needs that combination to get to the next level. That kind of coaching is hard to find!

It was a great first lesson with coach Mendo. Coach is very personable, energetic and funny. What's more important is he pays very close attention on everything including form, foot work, speed etc. He gave Spencer great tips

I am a friend of Tommy Lizotte, who is the father of Nikhill Lizotte, who is your point guard on your 8th grade Quick Handle team. I was Nikhill Lizotte’s football coach this year, what a great kid he is to coach. I just want to take a moment to tell you I watched your 8th grade Quick Handle Gold Team play 3 different times this weekend in the Best of The West Tournament in Yakima this last weekend. I saw your game against Friends Of Hoop, the quarterfinal game against the Seattle Rotary and your championship game against Team Washington. I must tell you your team is the best middle school aged team I have ever seen come through Yakima and I have officiated the Best of The West tournament for many years. The reason I make that statement is because your team plays such great team ball & is so unselfish. We all know that these elite tournaments consist of teams made up of all superstars, but to me what was so impressive about your team was the way they played as a team, sharing the ball, setting each other up and playing unbelievable team defense and the most intense totally dialed in group of kids I have seen. It is a real testament to you as a coach, because I have seen a lot of elite teams in AAU and I have just never seen a team with all those attributes I just listed. My son and I sat a few rows behind your bench in the championship game and we constantly heard you reminding your team that it is not about one individual it’s about togetherness. I loved the way you challenged your big tall center (I believe his name is Cal) when he was on the bench in the first half when you told him to start being a leader etc etc. All in all it was just an absolute treat to watch your team play and to see youth basketball played with such a premium on a complete team concept. Looking forward to watching your team play in the future.
My son, KJ, has always played the post. KJ went to the Ball Handling Camp and it was the best camp my son has ever gone to. I like the fact that the camp focused on one aspect of the game. The camp was very affordable and was the best money I’ve ever spent on a camp. There was a very noticeable change not only in his ball handling but more importantly in his confidence and his work ethic. The” can do” attitude that Coach Mendo teaches is what I teach my son, but coming from an outside influence really validated what I am teaching my son. Coach Mendo is not only a great ball handling coach but more importantly he is a great role model and influence on the kids attending his camp. This year I will put both my 14-yr old and 8-yr old sons in the camp. If your child is serious about playing the game of basketball, I guarantee you this camp will be the best thing you can do for your student athlete. ”Kevin S, Concord, California
Mark has attended Coach Mendezona’s camps since he was in his first years of recreational basketball to playing for premier select teams. It speaks volumes to watch Coach Mendezona’s kids at the clinics and camps. They are not only incredible basketball players (ranging from college teams to grade school), but are positive role models off the court as well. Pure and simple: Coach Mendezona teaches the mental and physical components of the game. Integrity – coach shares life experiences with the kids that help them realize that integrity is a key ingredient to life Mental toughness – everyone gets knocked down – but those that get back up and continue the battle win Compete with yourself – the measuring stick is your own personal improvement Incredible ball handling skills Quick Trigger shooting Offensive and Defensive techniques Bottom line – Kid’s notice their results quickly, and want to keep coming back for more. Try it out – you won’t be sorry. Kimberly L, Woodinville Washington
Our kids have been coming to your camp for the past 3 years and they love it! They have built up their skill level and confidence each time they attend the camp. We always make sure we mention you whenever we hear someone talking about basketball camps. You’re the best! The Singh Family
Testimony from a Proud Father of Brittani R. My daughter came home from school one day in the seventh grade and told me she wanted to play basketball in college. She is only 5 feet 4 inches tall but with a competitive and big heart. One of the first things I investigated was to find basketball training for my daughter knowing that fundamentals and skill development were very important to succeed. I did my research and found a camp in Kirkland, Wash run by Coach Mendezona. I was so impressed how he taught the kids dribbling skills that I signed up for other camps as well. My daughter loved to go to Coach Mendo’s camps because she was challenged and got better each time. His training, skill development and the mental approach to the game has influenced her success more than anymore. I am proud to say that my daughter will be playing basketball at a Division 2 school next year. I want to thank Coach Mendo for dramatically improving her as a basketball player. Thanks Coach
Coach Mendo has created an exceptional skill development program for basketball players who really want to succeed. The objectives are so clearly defined that the students know exactly what is being taught and how it is evaluated. This is not a ‘fluff, just keep the kids busy’ program. Many basketball players return year after year to learn the more complex skills. I highly recommend the program. John M., Educator, Author, Professional Athlete
