More About Coach Valentina
I have coached kids at different levels, from 2,5 years old and older. I can teach those who doesn’t know anything about swimming and those who want to improve their technique. I worked as a coach mostly in Russia. I did private swimming lessons for little kids in a small private pool and I worked with older kids in 25-meters pool. Also I have experience as a private coach here in Florida.
I'm a 4-times European Champion on 50 and 100 breastroke (twice in Rijeka, Croatia, 2008 and twice in Szczecin, Poland, 2011). As a member of the Russian National Swimming Team, at the FINA World Cup, I have won numerous medals and I was crowned the FINA World Cup Swimmer of the Meet (2008). I have also set the European Record on six separate occasions in the Women’s 50-meter and 100-meter Breaststroke. I won two bronze medals on 50 breastroke at World Universiade (Shenzhen, China, 2011 and Kazan, Russia, 2013).
Since 2002 to 2007 I was a member of the Russian National Finswimming Team. As a finswimmer, I'm a 5-times World Champion (China, 2004; twice in Italy 2006; twice in Italy 2007), the winner of the 7th World Games (Germany, 2005), 3-times European Champion (Italy,2005), a multiple-time Russian National Champion and Russian National Record Holder, and a World Record Holder on 200 m surface (Italy,2006); 50 m and 100 m bifins (Italy, 2007) and relays.
It depends on what you can. If this is a small kid who just gets acquainted with water, we will learn swimming using different games, toys, etc., otherwise the lesson will not be interesting for him or her. And if a kid knows how to swim we will improve some skills and technique in all kinds of stroke. There are a lot of different drills for it. Anyway this is an individual work and I have to meet my client to see what he or she is able to do.
