More About Coach Tyson
I have been a trainer/coach for 9 years in Hawaii and Portland, OR. I have helped to coach the age groups spanning from 5 years of age all the way to 65 years of age. I have my BS in Exercise Science from the University of Hawaii, NSCA CSCS, NASM CES and CPT.
Received my Exercise Science degree back in the summer of 2007 from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Have certifications with the NSCA CSCS, and NASM CES and CPT. Became a trainer at 24 hour fitness shortly after that till 2012 working with athletes ranging from boxing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, basketball, karate, wrestling, golf, tennis, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, running, and the military.
Sessions are typically 1 hour long. Starting off with dynamic movements and core exercises to warm the body up. Then depending on what phase an athlete is in, we move into more sports specific exercises. And lastly cooling down with specific mobility movements such as AIS (Active Isolated Stretching), foam rolling, and static stretching.

Client Reviews
Elijah (CoachUp client)
Coach Tyson is a great coach. He will first check your level as an athlete. Based on your goals, he will let you know what your weaknesses are and attack them to build up a base to start strengthening them. He is very particular in doing things the correct way, so you will feel movements you probably never felt before. Highly recommended if your looking to succeed.
John (CoachUp client)
Coach Tyson is a great coach. He is able to convey information in a very understandable way. I would recommend coach to friends.
