More About Coach Tyrone

I have worked with athletes as young as middle school to pros off and on since 2004. I have worked independently with each individual, never as a part of an organization (except in 2015 when I worked with the WR's at Overbrook HS). I don't have a typical age group I work with but I'd love to work with HS kids.I feel that is where the hunger really shows itself.

HS - All Catholic all years I attended Catholic School at Bishop McDevitt. Led the team in all statistical WR categories. Received special invitations every year from Penn State U and Florida State U. Learned form PSU and FSU Staff and players on an annual basis.

College - 17 year old freshman starter. Started every game of college career, Chose to attend Mansfield University of PA for family reasons. Led the team and all receiving statistics after freshman year and beyond. Heavily sought and recruited. Invited to Pro Combine in both my Junior and Senior year. Great measurable - 40+ inch vert, bench press 225: 26 times, 40 time: 4.3. Each combine year ended with severe hamstring injuries. Attended camps in Washington, San Diego and Atlanta.

A typical session will be all about fundamentals, technique, goal setting, and mental attitude. The focus will be on route running, speed and endurance, footwork and the mental aspect of the game. We will work in intervals. Sample 2/hr session: Warm-up and stretch - 20 minutes, Catching without route running (1 hand and 2 hands) - 15 minutes, Route running ( no passes) with a focus on the route stem using the tree given by the individuals team - 15 minutes, Route running with passes - 25 minutes and finishing up with Agility drills with passes to conclude - 20 minutes.
