I have coached pole vaulting, hurdles, and X-country at the high school level for the high school I competed for in WI from 2005-2009 (Southern Door).
‘05- ‘09 High School record holder in Pole Vault (13’ 6”)
High school record holder in 300 m hurdles (39.9)
Collegiate decathlon D3, ‘09- ‘10
16 years of competitive soccer
Triathlete
Ultra Marathon finisher (Colorado) 2022-23
Army physical fitness excellence awardee (12 years)
I look back on a lot of my young training days and wish I had been taught better fundamentals. Biomechanics, foot and leg strength, and psychology of sports are all things I studied and perfected in my Kinesiolory studies at University of MN, Twin Cities. These fundamentals will make a more prolific and healthier athlete in the long run and will be the cornerstone of ever session. Every session would begin with proper strengthening and conditioning followed by personal and tailored techniques for each discipline (hurdles, pole vault, and soccer).
