Trevor McPherson

12 years coaching high school athletes in Virginia. While there, I've coached many state, region and conference individual champions in the hurdles, sprints, and relays as well as a number of team titles. I also have USATF Level 1 certification.

I was a many time all-state and all-region performer in the 110m hurdles in HS, along with winning many district titles in several events. I was chosen MVP of my team three times.

A typical session will vary depending on the level of the athlete. I'm very comfortable introducing basics to beginners or working with high-level athletes looking to fine tune themselves to earn that title or get college attention. I lean heavy on proper technique and mechanics and will do many drills and a lot of explanation towards that end. My identity as a coach is one that lays a strong foundation to build an effective and efficient athlete on. As I identify various strengths and weaknesses, I tailor sessions towards those.
